A farm sanctuary should be a separate entity from its founder(s) or operator(s). It can become questionable about motivations on starting a farm sanctuary, if a stand-alone social media platform isn’t created for the farm sanctuary. If the non-human animals are mainly there to promote a personal page of a founder or operator, to increase their notoriety.
Of course, operators and volunteers will have their own pages they can use and discuss their day-to-day lives working or volunteering at a farm sanctuary, sharing non-human animal stories. But for professionalism and the public perception, a separate stand-alone social media platform needs to be available for the farm sanctuary.
