We are collecting free and discounted resources for farm sanctuaries in Canada, from discounted lawyer fees to help sanctuaries get their charity status, to free technology and grant options for projects! These are all hosted for free on our website. We also organize events, education classes, and workshops for farm sanctuaries, the public, teachers, and other non-profits. Also part or our resources for the public: come find your local sanctuaries by region, resources if you would like to start a sanctuary yourself, and so much more!

We started to help farm sanctuaries and farmed animals as we saw a need for an organization dedicated to helping with rescue and transport of farmed animals. At the start we worked with farm sanctuaries in British Columbia and expanded into Alberta later the same year. As of 2020 P.E.A.C.E. Rescue has expanded into Manitoba and we now work with Western Canada farm sanctuaries.

At P.E.A.C.E. Humane, we promote compassion for all through humane education.  We are committed to offering innovative and ethical alternatives that keep animals out of the classroom, and providing a variety of resources that teach empathy and respect for animals (human and non-human) and the environment. Educators, caregivers and students across Canada will find material by P.E.A.C.E. Humane and other like-minded groups.

The Billy Fund supports farmed animals with unique medical needs, or disabilities, at farm sanctuaries in Canada by offering a small grant option to help pay for items including mobility devices, medical bills, and therapeutic procedures.

This fund was established in memory of a very special individual named Billy. They had a larger than life personality but sadly the cards were stacked against them being born with wry neck and other disabilities.
